Brussel Sprouts and Bacon

  • 10 ounces shredded brussel sprouts

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 4 slices of bacon, chopped into one inch pieces

  • 1⁄3 cup low sodium soy sauce

1) In a skillet, heat oil over medium high heat

2) Add the bacon and fry for about five minutes, until almost crisp

3) Add brussel sprouts, salt and pepper. Toss everything together so the oil and bacon fat coat the sprouts. Cook for about three minutes, stirring occasionally

4) Pour in the soy sauce, stir everything and then put a lid on the skillet. Let it cook for 5 minutes, or until the sprouts are as you like them
