Tortellini and Pepper Soup
32 ounces of vegetable broth (or chicken broth, whatever your favorite boxed broth is unless you are crazy and have frozen broth in your freezer)
16 ounces tomato and pepper sauce (I use this)
20 ounces of tortellini, use your favorite but cheese or cheese and spinach work good here
All optional but you can also add red pepper flakes, basil and parmesan as toppings
1) Put the broth and tomato and pepper sauce in a large pot with a lid. Warm the sauce over medium heat until it boils.
2) Add the tortellini and put the lid back on. Cook until the pasta starts to float, about three minutes but check your package in case you bought some weird tortellini I don’t know about.
3) Season with salt and pepper, add whatever optional toppings from above you like and eat with some French bread.
