Quiche with Broccoli and Swiss

  • Refrigerated pie crust

  • Bag of frozen broccoli

  • 6 oz of swiss cheese

  • 8 eggs

  • Smoked paprika

  • Half and half ( not required )

1) Put the pie crust on the counter. This will make it easier to roll on the pie dish later

2) Preheat oven to 350°

3) Microwave the broccoli as directions say on the bag

4) Shred the cheese

5) Whisk the eggs with salt, pepper and half and half if using

6) Press broccoli between paper towels to get as much of the moisture out as possible

7) Put pie crust in pie dish. Layer the quiche like this - broccoli, cheese, egg mixture. Brush some of the egg on the exposed crust. Sprinkle smoked paprika on top

8) Put this in the oven for 50 minutes then let it cool for 10 minutes before you eat it all
